Grilled Salmon on Cedar Plank

  • 1 lb Wild Caught Salmon
  • 3 tbl Dijon Mustard
  • 3 tbl Pesto (see our Pesto Pizzaz recipe)
  • 1 tbl "Everything Bagel Spice"
  • 1 Sprig Dill
  • 1 Lemon (quartered)
  • 1 Cedar Plank 7"x15"

Enjoy the smokiness that a cedar plank imparts upon the fresh salmon.  Make sure to soak the plank at least 1/2 hour before putting it on the grill.

  • Set up your grill for indirect heat at 350 degrees F.
  • While grill is coming to temperature, place the salmon skin side down on the cedar plank.
  • Brush the fish with mustard first, then add pesto
  • Sprinkle with "Everything Bagel Spice".
  • Place the plank with the fish on the indirect side of the grill, close the lid and cook for 10 minutes or until internal temperature of fish is 125 degrees.
  • Garnish with lemon and dill
